Welcome to the Loch Erin Property Owners Association (LEPOA)
On behalf of the LEPOA Board of Directors, we'd like to welcome you and your family to our beautiful lake community. We are excited to have you as part of the neighborhood and hope you enjoy everything Loch Erin has to offer.
The mission of the Loch Erin Property Owners Association is to protect and preserve our lake, community, and property values by maintaining and improving water quality, promoting responsible lake stewardship, maintaining our parks and common areas, and encouraging member involvement.

New Member Checklist
Association Membership
Membership in the Loch Erin Property Owners Association provides access to:
- Private parks
- Boat Launch
- Dock leasing program
- Community events
- Fireworks celebration
- Water quality improvement initiatives
- Fish stocking programs
- Park maintenance and improvements
Our goal is to preserve and improve the quality of life for all property owners while protecting the natural beauty of Loch Erin.
Annual Dues
Annual Association dues are currently $175 per lot owned.
Dues are payable each year by May 1.
Association dues help fund:
- Park maintenance
- Boat launch maintenance
- Water quality programs
- Fish stocking
- Insurance
- Community improvements
- Office operations
- Legal and administrative expenses
- Community events
LEPOA Neighborhoods

Please note: Some homeowners also belong to one of the following sub-associations: Gilgal Pointe, Irish Mist, or Stonehedge. If your property is located within one of these subdivisions, separate dues may apply and are paid directly to your respective sub-association treasurer.
Building & Property Improvements
Before beginning any exterior project, approval from the Building Committee is required.
Projects requiring approval include, but are not limited to:
- New homes
- Home additions
- Garages
- Sheds
- Fences
- Decks
- Docks
- Pools
- Exterior renovations
- Retaining walls
- Other permanent exterior improvements
Please complete and submit the Building Committee Information Form before beginning construction.
Gate Cards
Members in good standing are eligible to receive a gate card.
Gate cards provide access to:
- LEPOA Boat Launch
If you need a gate card or replacement card, please contact the LEPOA Office.
Vehicle Stickers
Vehicle stickers help identify authorized member vehicles at LEPOA parks and facilities.
Current stickers should be displayed as instructed. If you need additional or replacement stickers, please contact the office.
Parks & Amenities
LEPOA maintains several private parks for the enjoyment of members and their guests.
Amenities include:
- Lake access
- Boat launch
- Picnic areas
- Playgrounds
- Swimming areas (Galway Park)
- Community gathering areas

Board Meetings
Board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at the Cambridge Township Hall.
The Annual Membership Meeting is held each May.
Members are encouraged to attend meetings and stay involved in the Association.

Water Quality & Lake Stewardship
Loch Erin is an all-sports lake, and preserving its health is one of the Association's highest priorities.
Because Loch Erin is a relatively shallow lake, the type of watercraft and propulsion system used can have a significant impact on the lake bottom. Disturbing bottom sediments may negatively affect water quality, water clarity, fish habitat, and increase the likelihood of harmful algae blooms.
We encourage all residents to review the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Wake Boat Report and other available lake studies to better understand how boating practices can help preserve Loch Erin for future generations.
